The Congo drums. The pollera dresses. The tamborito. Panama's soul, in one evening. Our most immersive experience — designed for travelers who want to feel a culture, not just see it.
Panama's cultural identity is one of the richest in Latin America — shaped by indigenous peoples, Spanish colonists, African communities, and Caribbean waves of migration. Nowhere is that identity more vividly expressed than in its folklore: the thundering drums of the Congo tradition, the swirling pollera dresses of the interior, the stomping footwork of the tamborito, Panama's national dance.
This evening experience brings it all together. You'll begin with a traditional Panamanian dinner — sancocho, arroz con guandú, patacones, and more — served at a historic venue in the heart of Casco Viejo. Then the performance begins: a full folklore show featuring costumed dancers, live musicians, and your guide narrating the stories and cultural origins of each piece.
This is our most immersive experience — designed for travellers who want to leave Panama having felt its culture, not just seen it. Dinner is included and the meal is designed to represent the breadth of Panamanian cuisine, from coastal Pacific dishes to highland traditions.

Is the dinner a full meal?
Yes — the dinner is a full 3-course Panamanian meal including starter, main course, and dessert. Dishes are traditional Panamanian recipes, not tourist-adapted versions.

Absolutely. Solo travelers are warmly welcomed and often end up at a shared table with other guests — it's one of our most social experiences.
